I was born in the late 50's. I grew up with both my Mom and Dad. I am the oldest of three daughters. My one sister is 1 1/2 years younger than me. She was so wild she made me look like an angel. My youngest sister is 6 years younger than me and always the most spoiled. I got married when I was 22 and had two beautiful sons by the time I was 28. I began working in the 'family' business in 1990 and have absolutely loved every single minute. Unfortunately I became a single parent when the kids were 10 and 12. I was lucky to have shared 9 years with a man I considered to be my best friend. All of these things have shaped the person I am today. Some experiences have been thrilling, others have been brutally terrifying. We are all shaped and molded by our experiences. I can honestly say that 2004 - 2007 has forever changed who I am. I am still trying to figure out where to go from here.
This is my grandson. He doesn't have a name yet but he is beautiful. He wil be born the first week of July. I am counting the seconds until I can hold him.

He is so lucky to have you for a Grandma Nanna Meme? Hmmmm now you have to figure that one out. You won't believe that huge overwhelming love you will feel the first time you hold him. I am so happy for you. Love ya Kathy
I'm going to do my best not to get in your way. Just give me "the look" if I overstep my bounds, okay?
By the way, I've been told by my coffee group who watched my baby fashion show today that I should tell you not to buy any printed onesies (I think I have about 10 single ones)...maybe you shouldn't buy too much of anything. LOL!
What are you talking about "getting in my way"!!!! Being a Gramma is awesome but being a Great Gramma is...well...greater!!! I'm sure there will be enough baby to go around. Can't wait for you to get home and share the excitement from here :)
There is NEVER too much love for a baby. If you don't believe me ask Karrissa and Madison. All you get is a happy contented baby. Enjoy every second including the anticpation. Kathy
